Broadcom Corporation – Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA driver

Yes- they have actually released a real Linux driver. According to news stories- Dell and Cononical were instrumental in it as-well. Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) will come with it, and I believe it is available in the current Beta. I haven’t upgraded my lappy to it yet, so can’t say it if is any better than the current OSS driver/firmware kludge currently being used.
