Slashdot | NSI Registers Every Domain Checked

Since the links in the Slashdot article are currently down, I thought I would just post the Slashdot story.

Network Solutions has always been one of the key rip-off/extortion artists of the Internet. They charge 4x as much (or more) than what their competitors do for domains, and they get away with it because some large corporations STILL think they are the only way to register domains. Now they have come with an underhanded, and as far as I’m concerned illegal, scheme to rip off even more people. I wish I could say I was surprised.
