Leopard “Spaces”?

It seems one of the biggest features of OS-X Leopard I’ve heard about is “Spaces”.

It’s friggin’ multiple desktops! Most Linux Windows Managers have had them for something like a decade now. I’m so glad that Apple has lent some credibility to this great “new” technology.

To be honest- I haven’t seen Leopard myself, but just about everything I’ve heard about it reminds me of Compiz. The only other great new thing is “Time Machine”, which sounds exactly like a GUI version of rsync mirroring. I do miss the bouncy icons on my taskbar in Linux…
