AMD DTX Small Form Factor System Sneak Peek – HotHardware

Somewhere along the line- I missed that BTX has pretty much died before it even got any momentum. Some OEMs use it, but it never hit the DIY market, where ATX still rules. I feel DTX is a great concept for people who want to build smaller computers and still use “standard” components. With the way technology progresses- I can see this becoming the real replacement for ATX down the road. I particularly like the fact that it is backwards-compatible with ATX chassis. Hopefully ATI can do what Intel failed to do with BTX.
